1. Scope and who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to Trackr’s marketing website, iPhone app, Apple Watch app, and related
services we operate for workout tracking, planning, syncing, support, and optional AI coaching.
It covers information we collect directly from you, information stored on your device, information
processed when you enable optional integrations, and information handled by service providers that help
us operate Trackr.
2. Information you provide to Trackr
Depending on how you use Trackr, you may provide workout and profile information such as workout
templates, completed sessions, set history, notes, exercise selections, progress summaries, reminders,
weekly goals, preferences, profile details, and support messages.
If account features are enabled, you may also provide information such as your email address, display
name, sign-in method, and optional profile photo.
3. Information stored locally on your device
Trackr stores core app data locally on-device, including workout templates, completed sessions,
notifications, profile settings, and related workout history needed to power the app experience.
Based on the current app architecture, this local storage is kept in application-support files on your
device so Trackr can continue to function even if you do not create an account or use cloud sync.
4. Optional account, authentication, and sync
If account features are available and you choose to use them, Trackr may process account data through a
Supabase-backed authentication and sync service. This may include your email address, display name,
authentication provider, session tokens, synced workout templates, synced workout sessions, synced
in-app notifications, profile settings, and optional profile photos.
In the current codebase, cloud sync is optional and depends on whether backend configuration is enabled.
If you do not use account sync, Trackr can continue operating with local-only storage for core workout
data.
5. Apple Health and health-related data
Apple Health integration is optional. If you grant permission, Trackr may read approved workout and
health-related data and may write Trackr-created workout entries back to Apple Health where supported.
Based on the current implementation, Trackr may request access to workout data and certain health or
activity signals such as active energy, heart rate, heart-rate recovery, resting heart rate, heart rate
variability, step count, sleep analysis, and biological sex where available through Apple’s APIs.
Trackr uses this data to support features such as workout import, linking logged sessions to HealthKit,
mirrored workout saves, workout metrics, daily activity summaries, and recovery-related views. Health
permissions are controlled by Apple. You can revoke them at any time in Apple’s settings.
6. Apple Music
If you enable Apple Music integration, Trackr may request access to your music library or playback
state so playlists can be attached to workouts and playback can be controlled during training.
This feature is optional. If you do not grant access, you can still use Trackr’s core workout features
without Apple Music integration.
7. Notifications and reminders
If you enable notifications, Trackr may request local notification permissions to support workout
reminders and in-workout timer alerts such as rest timers.
Notification content is used to deliver the reminder or timer you asked for. You can disable
notifications in iOS Settings or in Trackr where supported.
8. Spotter AI coaching
Trackr includes an optional in-app AI coaching feature referred to in the product as Spotter and in the
codebase as Setty. When you use Spotter, exercise context, workout context, message history, and your
latest question may be sent to a Cloudflare-hosted service that requests a response from OpenAI.
Spotter is optional. Do not use it as medical, injury, diagnosis, or emergency advice. If you do not
use Spotter, this data flow does not occur.
9. Workout sharing and recap links
Trackr supports workout recap cards and shareable workout payloads. Based on the current implementation,
Trackr can generate internal or configured share links containing workout-preview information so you can
share a recap or workout view.
If you use a share feature, information included in the shared payload or recap may be visible to the
people you send it to. Share only the workout information you are comfortable disclosing.
10. Support requests, website use, and basic technical data
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you send us, such as your email address,
screenshots, device details, app version details, and the description of your issue.
When you use the website or backend services, standard technical information such as request logs, IP
address, browser or device information, and timestamps may be processed as part of normal website,
hosting, and API operations.
As of the “Last updated” date above, this marketing site does not use a third-party analytics script by
default.
11. How we use information
We use information covered by this policy to operate and improve Trackr, including to:
- Provide workout planning, logging, history, progress, goals, reminders, and recap features.
- Import, link, or write workouts and related signals when Apple Health permissions are enabled.
- Provide Apple Music and Apple Watch-related workout experiences where available.
- Provide Spotter coaching responses when you choose to use that feature.
- Authenticate users, sync account data, restore data, and manage profile photos if account sync is enabled.
- Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, and prevent misuse.
12. How we may disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate Trackr, such as hosting,
authentication, storage, support, and AI-processing providers, but only to the extent reasonably
necessary to provide the relevant feature.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, in connection with
a business transfer, or at your direction when you choose to share content or connect an external
service.
We do not currently state that we sell your personal information or consumer health data. If that
changes, this policy will be updated before that practice begins.
13. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Trackr features you use,
maintain your account, support syncing, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our
terms.
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear it through available
app or account tools. Cloud-synced data may remain in backups, logs, or storage systems for a limited
period after deletion requests, subject to technical and legal requirements.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information handled
through Trackr. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Trackr’s current architecture minimizes some data handling by storing core workout information locally
by default, while optional connected features use external services only when you enable or use them.
15. Your choices and rights
- Review or revoke Apple Health permissions through Apple’s Health and privacy controls.
- Disable Apple Music access or notification access in iOS Settings.
- Choose not to use Spotter if you do not want coaching prompts processed through the AI service flow.
- Use local-only app features without enabling optional account sync where supported.
- Contact support if you want help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting account-linked information.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. We may need to
verify your request before completing certain privacy requests.
16. Children’s privacy
Trackr is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use the service without
parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Trackr inappropriately,
contact us so we can review the issue.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Trackr changes. When we make material updates, we
will revise the “Last updated” date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
